Members To Guide Product Development of Leading Email Marketing Tool

Constant Contact (www.constantcontact.com), the leading permission Do-It-Yourself Email Marketing® service for small and medium businesses and associations, today announced the formation of a Customer Advisory Board, a select group of Constant Contact users who will serve as the representative voice of the company's rapidly growing customer base of more than 35,000 users. The Customer Advisory Board, which kicked off the first of quarterly meetings August 3, 2005, will help guide Constant Contact's product development efforts and insure that the company's products and vision remain closely aligned with its customers' business objectives.
"The Customer Advisory Board is a wonderful way for Constant Contact to keep in touch with its client base," said Marvin Getman of Impact Events Group, Inc. Getman, producer of four New England-region antique shows, uses Constant Contact's email marketing tools to communicate with exhibitors and show customers. "I hope to be able to advise the company on refinements to the product that will make it even more useful. As a small business person I spend most of my time working to improve and market my shows," he continued. "It's rewarding to help another company improve its product."
In addition to participating in regular meetings and conference calls to evaluate new features, product vision, and company direction, Customer Advisory Board members will represent the larger customer community during focus groups and usability testing. Constant Contact has established an interactive on-line discussion portal for Advisory Board members for sharing product development ideas and conducting customer issue-oriented polls.
