Third Annual MITX What's Next Forum & Technology Awards Recognize Outstanding Technology Advancements in New England Region

Winners will be announced at the ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston on Wednesday, June 7, 2006. This year's keynote speaker and special honoree is Nicholas Negroponte, co-founder of the MIT Media Lab, esteemed author and founder and Chairman of the non-profit association One Laptop per Child.

The ceremony is preceded by the What's Next Forum, a panel discussion moderated by Jason Pontin, Editor-in-Chief of Technology Review. The topic, What's Next for the Social Web, will be a forward-looking discussion about the next platforms and paradigms to shape the social web.
